A few words from our judge:
Hello, poodle people of Bulgaria!
I’m Christina Johansson. I was born in Sweden, but in 2013 I moved to Norway. I’ve been breeding poodles together with my mother, Sanne Johansson, under the kennel name Sandust since 1995. We have been lucky to breed, raise and show Best in Show winners in all four poodle sizes.
I started very young as a handler and groomer of our own dogs and a few others. Our first litter of standard poodles was born in 1995. Over the years, we have bred and shown many top-winning poodles.
I’ve had the good fortune to be a successful breeder and handler of our miniature poodles in England, where I won many CCs and titles such as Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex at Crufts. We have also imported several stud dogs from there over the years, like the All Breed Dog of the Year in Norway for 2017, the toy poodle Aedan Talk of the Devil – “Nicholas.”
I have been licensed to judge poodles in the summer of 2023. In that time I’ve already judged in Sweden, South Africa, Finland, and Denmark. I’m really looking forward to coming and being part of your first specialized poodle show in Bulgaria!
Best regards,
Christina Johansson
